IT'S TIME TO INVEST IN THE "BACKYARD".

Julia Crystal News - 2nd article

"Backyard" or 3rd world is how 1st world countries call Latin America.

In 1998 a newspaper article reported the GDP (Gross Domestic Products) of the following countries:

1 - Russia: US$ 300 billion (after the end of the Soviet Union)
2 - Brazil:  US$ 860 billion
3 - China:  US$ 1 Trillion
4 - USA:    U$$ 9.1 Trillion

From these GDP, we can see that Brazil had GDP almost equal to the China.
Observing this ratio of GDP it is surprising how Russia competed with the USA in the race for the moon. It was not with the money of Russia, but with that of the other countries that made up the Soviet Union.

With regard to China, attracted by cheap labor the USA and Europeans invested tremendously in this country, transferring factories there. Even Ford Motor Company car maker went to China to make cars and light bulbs.

The very smart Chineses welcomed the new investors because they had little know-how in modern technology. Meanwhile, the Chinese trained 500,000 engineers a year and the USA 50,000 and the European Union, close to this ...

Result: Today, 21 years later, China is the world's second largest economic powerhouse, with nearly US$ 15 trillion of GDP, aspiring to be the world's first economic powerhouse. Currently, the USA and China are diverging in economic interests.

China's middle class is larger than the entire USA population, probably with Europe included. The rich in China spend their money in Hong Kong and Singapore (City State), which are Asian cities and there are already stores for the super rich. China is now a competitor of the USA and the European Union, with cheaper production and labor. The USA and the European Union are certainly regreat and the Chinese thank them for the help.

Given this scenario, what is the advantage of investing in Latin America?

Investing in Latin America, in addition to preventing the Latin Americans from seeking other countries to fund them, can also prevent many walls, like the one in Mexico being built, due to differences in social and financial developments.

In the past, Latin America has been little sought by USA and European investors, because it was considered 3rd World or the "backyard" of these nations, that is, it was left for future investments.

And the future has come faster than previously thought ...

Investing in Latin America would be much more profitable and smarter than investing in ChinaLatin America's middle class and rich futures would spend they money in Miami, New York,  Frankfurt, or Paris. Many Latin Americans have European descent and natural ties to the USA because they are also Americans.

Now, the only way out for Americans and the European Union is to invest in the "backyard", because if they don't, the 2nd language of Latin Americans will be Standard Mandarin.

  1. Great story Julia and yes, in a way, I am investing in Latin America by investing in your music. I know it's not much, but if more of my friends and neighbors would join me, it would make a difference. I am dropping my pebble in the pond and hoping to see the ripples grow...

THE TRUTH CONCERNING THE AMAZON

THE LUNG OF THE WORLD IS NOT

 AMAZON, BUT

  The "OCEANS"

 WHY?

Because oceans absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen (approximately 70% of the oxygen in the Earth) in a much larger area than Amazon, via phytoplankton (micro algae in the oceans), (see graphic below) and links to scientific data on English and Portuguese, available to the world online, (just access).

(CHECK THE LINK AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE )

                           phytoplankton

These microalgæ are plants which absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen in a much larger average than the Amazon Forest, with an advantage that when these micro algae dies, they settle to the bottom of the oceans, thus by not producing carbon dioxide anymore and forests produce carbon dioxide afterwards that trees die or are burned. Then proportionally, the oceans produce much more oxygen (75% more) and absorb even more carbon dioxide than the Amazon Forest.

Phytoplankton or some types of diatoms can be found on the surface of the Oceans, they live by photosynthesis (that means, through the sun's energy), but most diatoms live further deep 200 meters. There are already studies and scientific experiments being performed to bring these diatoms to the surface, to increase the number of phytoplankton and hence absorb the excess of carbon dioxide on the planet.

LOOK AT THAT:

Surface of the planet Earth is   510.100.000 Km²

Surface of the Oceans ............  361.000.000 Km²
Amazonian Area........................... 5.500.000 Km² (total in 9 countries)
Brazilian Amazon Area................  3.400.000 Km² (in 9 Brazilian States)

Starting from these datam, its possible to see that the lung of the world is not the Amazonia but the oceans.

The Amazonia has one of the more largest biome in the world and the largest water resources (freshwater) worldwide, as well as many mineral resources, ecosystems and others unexplored.
It’s possible to imagine that something is wrong when someone said that the Amazonia is the lung of the world. The Amazonia is a very small surface in relation to the surface of the oceans and the Planet. It’s basically 0.92%.

There are other interests in the Amazonia area, once most of the countries in the world have destroyed their forests and biosystems and have consumed almost all its mineral resources.

Ironically and with ulterior motives, some countries do suggestions in the land of others as if we were not wise enough to know. In fact, financial resources are lacking to the supervisiono for the lands so extensive as our are.

The Amazonia is very Important for Brazil because:

1 - Whether well managed, Brazil will be a privileged country in mineral resources, wood, biosystems, precious stones, water resources (water including immense groundwater) and other derivatives of the ecosystem.

2 – Beyond the biome and water resources, Amazonia brings forth the damp through the air flow to the área deeply dry (without damp) of the coutry.

(Photo  by "O Globo" Journal of August 5, 2019).

To the world it is important because part of the Amazon forest will produce food, (vegetables) and will feed the billions of people who will be added to the world population in the upcoming years, I mean, Brazil will be a true "Barn" to the world and it is holder of 12% of the water resources (freshwater) of 53% of South America's (freshwater) water resources and owns one of the world's largest mineral resources. This stirs the ambition of so many countries in the world that do not have these resources we do. We need to be very careful that those countries to not perform any negative influence or tell lies concerning statistics about the Amazon in relation to the world in relation to the weather of the planet.

For which reason "Congo Forest" in Africa, which has 1,800,000 km² is not the target of the same attacks in Brazil Amazon forest? Congo forest Would not to be also one of the lungs of the world?

Currently, the resources of the wood being taken from the Amazon and also from the precious stones are not going to the pockets and vaults of the Brazilian people, but to the pockets of land grabbers or invaders who may be of different nationalities.

With a new vision, the wood would be commercialized in a conscious and planned way, It means, with controlled extraction and a replanting stepwise.

The financial resources derived from these new consciousness would be immeasurable, of the order of perhaps billions of dollars for years and years, but should be planned by nationalistic and reliable scientists.

As the Amazon is not the lung of the Earth, as I said further above, it means it does not produce the oxygen as it once has been imagined, we must clarify what is happening and prevent this from being targeted by international speculators and we need to have access to its resources, to make improvements concerning the protection of the forest in order to not be on the mercy of the comments of opportunists who destroyed their forests and their mineral resources.

The Brazilian Amazon was well maintained by Brazilians so far, whether well managed and with a well designed project will have great success. Much more than in any other country where even with all the resources, they had not the balls to manage and maintain their forests.

Brazilians have enough conscience and knowledge to manage our territory and reject outside opinions that are not constructive.

- The recent fires being intensified in Brazil may be the work of criminals with economic interests or in order to destabilizing our government

- Foreign countries that wish to add constructive opinions to our country are welcome.

- Decisions previously taken by our country before the clarification that the Amazon is not the lung of the world will lose intrinsic value and no liability can be applied to Brazil.

- It is necessary to better equip the inspection area of the Amazon, assigning a larger number of inspectors and Ibama helicopters and also personnel from the Air Force. Those whom act without authorization will be faced as enemies.

- The area designated for the Amazon development must be guided and by scientists and environmental experts.

- Global warming has not yet been fully explained by scientists entirely, so the Amazon has no connection with this fact but with local climate changes.

- Unfortunately, burning is a primitive practice of agriculture in Brazil.

Much of the deforestation that occurs in Brazil and around the world is because of livestock

Suggestions:

1 – Maintain the state of Amazon (1,571,000 km²) Without deforestation. The Amazonas River watershed has many affluents in the state of Amazon and scientists declare that below the surface lies the largest freshwater groundwater in the world, even larger than the Guarani groundwater, in the borders of Brazil with Paraguay and Argentina

2 - Maintain the North State of Pará (Mouth of Amazonas River), until near Altamira, with its untouched forests to preserve and keep  the  Source of Amazonas River,  including Marajó Island.

3 -  Protect ecosystems in forests with a diameter of approximately 50 kilometers from the center of the ecosystem.

4 - Keep the riparian forest of the affluent rivers of the Amazon with 6 kilometers wide, with forests to protect the rivers.

5 – Only Allow the extraction of minerals in all states of the Amazon region of Brazil, under a rigid control with qualified companies nd licensed by the government to exploitation without damage to nature.

6 - These minerals can bring billions of dollars over the years to the states that are part of the Brazilian Amazon region. (Check the map below)

7 – Avoid the minerals from being exploited by prospectors to suppress illegal actions, exports and damage in the forests and water sources using of mercury.

Summary

- Currently there are still countries with colonialist attitudes with economic interests in Amazon, and such countries may be causing panic to the uninformed people.

- These burnings happen every year at the same time in Brazil, but now they are happening in greater scale ... Nonetheless we must say that we are right now up to take necessary actions and bear in mind its a very wide and big área.

Nobody wants more than we (Brazilians) do for the fires coming to and end, we are not crazy neither are we deliberately setting fire to our own forests. There is a problem to be solved and I hope that the authorities of all countries will have  dignity to treat us with respect rather than devise strategies for destabilizing the country and imposing sanctions. We do not act like this when some countries went through the same environmental issue, like the burning in the California (United States), in Portugal and others...

I hope I have had contributed with enough and importante intel for your knowledge, reflexion and to get your own conclusion focused to aggregate in terms of peaceful and fair solutions in your country and also our.
