IT'S TIME TO INVEST IN THE "BACKYARD".

Julia Crystal News - 2nd article

"Backyard" or 3rd world is how 1st world countries call Latin America.

In 1998 a newspaper article reported the GDP (Gross Domestic Products) of the following countries:

1 - Russia: US$ 300 billion (after the end of the Soviet Union)
2 - Brazil:  US$ 860 billion
3 - China:  US$ 1 Trillion
4 - USA:    U$$ 9.1 Trillion

From these GDP, we can see that Brazil had GDP almost equal to the China.
Observing this ratio of GDP it is surprising how Russia competed with the USA in the race for the moon. It was not with the money of Russia, but with that of the other countries that made up the Soviet Union.

With regard to China, attracted by cheap labor the USA and Europeans invested tremendously in this country, transferring factories there. Even Ford Motor Company car maker went to China to make cars and light bulbs.

The very smart Chineses welcomed the new investors because they had little know-how in modern technology. Meanwhile, the Chinese trained 500,000 engineers a year and the USA 50,000 and the European Union, close to this ...

Result: Today, 21 years later, China is the world's second largest economic powerhouse, with nearly US$ 15 trillion of GDP, aspiring to be the world's first economic powerhouse. Currently, the USA and China are diverging in economic interests.

China's middle class is larger than the entire USA population, probably with Europe included. The rich in China spend their money in Hong Kong and Singapore (City State), which are Asian cities and there are already stores for the super rich. China is now a competitor of the USA and the European Union, with cheaper production and labor. The USA and the European Union are certainly regreat and the Chinese thank them for the help.

Given this scenario, what is the advantage of investing in Latin America?

Investing in Latin America, in addition to preventing the Latin Americans from seeking other countries to fund them, can also prevent many walls, like the one in Mexico being built, due to differences in social and financial developments.

In the past, Latin America has been little sought by USA and European investors, because it was considered 3rd World or the "backyard" of these nations, that is, it was left for future investments.

And the future has come faster than previously thought ...

Investing in Latin America would be much more profitable and smarter than investing in ChinaLatin America's middle class and rich futures would spend they money in Miami, New York,  Frankfurt, or Paris. Many Latin Americans have European descent and natural ties to the USA because they are also Americans.

Now, the only way out for Americans and the European Union is to invest in the "backyard", because if they don't, the 2nd language of Latin Americans will be Standard Mandarin.

  1. Great story Julia and yes, in a way, I am investing in Latin America by investing in your music. I know it's not much, but if more of my friends and neighbors would join me, it would make a difference. I am dropping my pebble in the pond and hoping to see the ripples grow...
